Tony OrlandoA Message from Tony Orlando, National Honorary Chairman

In 2006, Joe Stango had one request: “Help me bring my mother home.” In a nursing home since 2003, Dora simply wanted to live out her last days surrounded by her loving family. Joe’s plea caught the attention of thousands across New England. I heard him, too. Three years later, “Money Follows the Person” (MFP) was born in Connecticut. MFP allows people to go home to live their lives with purpose and with dignity.

Men and women of all ages, institutionalized by the state, now have hope…Dora’s Hope. Dora’s Hope wants a “choice centered” Medicaid program for all Americans so families can do what they do best: love and care for one another. For families, patients, taxpayers and all America, I join Joe because it’s the right thing to do.
